I do digital scrapbooking. So I have tons of files and pictures. I have a desktop computer here at home and my husband, who lives out of the country has a laptop. I would like to be able to carry the hard drive back and forth so I can do my scrapbooking. Is this possible?
Western Digital is the way to go. If you want to be able to access your data from anywhere in the world I suggest a special drive. The Western Digital 500 GB World Edition is an amazing drive. A little more than most drives, but it can do something most of them can't. You hook this drive up to your Ethernet connection. Once all your data is on the drive you can access it from anywhere in the world. Your desktop, your husbands laptop, or even other PCs. Only you have access to it unless you give access to someone else. This way you don't have to lug a portable drive around the globe with you. If that isn't what you are looking for then check out Western Digital 500 GB HDDs called the MY BOOK ESSENTIAL EDITION. Good price and lots of space. Good Luck!
