I am making a scrapbook all about my dad for school. like all about his past, including special things he did, his brothers and sisters, his embarrassing moments etc.

-can you please give me tips and ideas on what else i can include in there and stuff
-and if i should make it by hand or on the computer (it’s due on January 21 or 22 -around then)
-plus my dad had a twin but he died before my dad got married (which is awfully sad)…so maybe you could give me ideas on how i could put that page together

Since it’s due so soon, I’d do a few pages digitally. You can always add embellishments to the printed page.
Start with a baby or youth picture, Army or other service page, graduation, marriage, a photo of him and his twin, maybe a travel photo.
A page of his current family photo.
For him and his brother, you could do 2 peas in a pod, or me and my shadow.
Journal a little on most pages.

try adding this to his scrapbook. It’s a time capsule page. Add his birthdate and he can see what all went on the year of his birth. :) Sounds like you are doing a great project for him!

Yea, you’re kind of short on time. Do you have pictures? Digital would be a great way to go, if you’re already comfortable using Photoshop or some other program, because the learning curve can take a bit. My digital pages go a lot faster now that I’m more familiar with the program. Places to get digital freebies: where you can search by theme, or digifree.blogspot.com where they have a list of daily freebies (sometimes when you go to digiscrapdepot, the freebies are old and have been removed, it can be incredibly frustrating! Usually, the newer the better) Though sindiego.blogspot.com has a GREAT man’s kit on her blog, and she doesn’t usually removed older kits, if it’s gone just email her and tell her that galtscrapper said to ask for “Father’s Ties” which is the kit. She sometimes removes them if people pirate them, but she hangs onto them, and a kind email is usually enough for her to give it to you. You never know what you’ll get with a kind request sent via email, so if you find a kit on anyone’s blog that’s gone, just email and ASK….nicely of course ;) . Some people are trying to sell their kits, but again, you never know what you’ll get unless you ask. Explain what it’s for.
Let’s see… the twin page should probably be an “especial” remembrance of your uncle. You can do it from your perspective, or you can attempt to do it from your dads, writing down what he’s told you about him. Do say how he died, and how that makes you feel… if this is ultimately for your dad, he’ll cherish it (he’ll cherish in anyway, my dad shows the scrapbook I made for Christmas to everyone!) It can be difficult to scrap for someone else, just get in your head your perspective… yours, or your dads, or some combo of both, in terms of “I remember when dad said this…” and do a page about how much you love/admire the man…what he means to you, because that will definitely be another “especial” page, ESPECIALLY to HIM. And you’ll know he knows exactly how you feel about him.
For “pictureless” pages, just do journaling, maybe an embellishment to give a “feel” for the theme/subject. NOT every scrapbook page must have pictures, though to me, they do help. But I know people who do just journaled pages. You probably want to keep things fairly simple, because of time limits…you might want to invest in a corner adorner or corner stickers that you can just slip pictures in…don’t cut up old pictures that you have no copies of…you”ll regret it in the end.

I’ve got to go get my daughter from her crib, so that’s all I can offer for now, hope it helps!
