I've printed out a lot of pictures from my computer/printer (for genealogy purposes and scrapbook) over the past several years (the printers were Canon and HP) but now that I look at those pages they seem to be fading. How do I keep them from fading? Even the printed out pages with just black ink seem to be fading.

First: There is no forever…

Second: Use high quality paper without any acidic properties and use a picture printer not an ink jet type printer.

Third: Coat the picture with the anti infra-red and anti ultra-violet coating of your choice.

Keep the ink fresh. When it runs out or gets low your pictures color fads away
